Patricia Canelake “Hopyard” Series 

I-Park Artist Residency East Haddam, Connecticut

 

Paintings were completed during I-Park Artist Residency in East Haddam Connecticut.  All paintings are oils on linen and were painted with local influences from Devil’s Hopyard State Park and Ray of Light Rescue farm for rescued animals. Subjects ( animals) &  objects ( cars, tractors) are interpreted  through  line, color light and shadow and painted in a rustic gestural style.
