Patricia Canelake

Artist Bio

 

Patricia Canelake lives and works in Knife River, Minnesota. Simple figurative, and animal subjects, leashed and unleashed are the subjects of her work. Canelake served a two-year term as a panelist for the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and received two McKnight Foundation Fellowships. She was represented at the 2015 Minnesota Biennial Exhibition at the Museum of Minnesota Art. Artist Residencies include Yaddo, MacDowell Artist Colony, and Headlands Center for the Arts.
